Automatic 6V Battery Charger

Automatic battery charger for rechargeable batteries to be used in McDermott BGLED888 Series Barge Navigation Lights. Takes (2) 6-volt, spring-top rechargeable lantern batteries. Steady red LED light indicates that power is connected to the charger. Steady green LED indicates that the charger is charging the batteries. Flashing/flickering green LED light indicates that the batteries are fully charged and the charger has entered into maintenance mode keeping the batteries fully charged and ready for use. Automatic charging feature prevents batteries from being overcharged. They can be left in the charger indefinitely until they are ready for use. Charge time to full charge: 8 hours New batteries should last 7 nights (of 12 hours each night) in a BGLED888 Barge Navigation Light. Over time, the batteries will show a reduction in capacity and duration. Replace the rechargeable batteries when they are no longer able to hold a sufficient charge.
