VULKAN Torflex 630 marine torsional damper / flexible drive plate — the coupling that sits between the engine flywheel and the marine gear input shaft. Factory label reads "KD: Torflex-Element 630", production number 726 815 S40, silicone element quality 7480/780.

Application: Not verified. Drive plates of this family are fitted between diesel engines and marine reverse/reduction gears on a variety of Yanmar, Cummins, John Deere and Volvo-type installations, but the specific engine and gearbox combination for this unit has not been established. Outer diameter measures approximately 13.8–14 in (≈350–355 mm), consistent with an SAE 11-1/2 in flywheel fit — this is an estimate from photos and must be measured to confirm. Spline count and bolt-hole pattern are unverified.

Condition: Used, untested take-out. Complete as pictured. White oxidation on the alloy outer ring, surface rust on the steel hub plate, one small stained/pitted area near a bolt hole, and a partially abraded factory label. No testing of element integrity, free play, or remaining service life has been performed. Hardware not included.
