Delco-Remy heavy-duty 24-volt, clockwise-rotation direct-drive diesel starter motor, removed as a take-out. The original riveted Delco-Remy factory data plate confirms 24 VOLTS and CW ROTATION; the MODEL field reads 1993768 but the plate is abraded and the last digit is not fully certain, so we are not publishing it as a confirmed orderable service number.

Application: NOT VERIFIED. Starters of this size and construction are commonly found on large diesel engines in marine propulsion and auxiliary, generator set, industrial and off-highway service, but no engine make or model is marked on this unit. The white barcoded "NO RECORD ASSET" label (TB0202ST0012) is a previous owner's asset-control tag, not a part number.

Condition: Used, untested take-out. Chipped paint, surface rust on the nose housing and drive flange, shop dirt and oil film; externally complete with drive pinion, terminal studs and both end housings present. No bench test, no-load test, solenoid test or brush/armature inspection has been performed — nothing in this listing should be read as tested or working.
