Application: Heavy cast-iron double-flanged flap/butterfly valve body with internal disc, shaft gland, and external actuating lever — consistent with a diesel exhaust brake / exhaust shut-off flap or an emergency intake air shut-off valve. Cast "MADE IN GERMANY" with a maker's logo and partially legible cast numbers. Manufacturer and engine application are NOT verified; the cast numbers are foundry/casting markings, not confirmed OEM service part numbers.

Condition: Used, untested take-off with heavy surface rust and scale inside and out. Flap disc present and appears intact; disc and bore are pitted, flange faces are rough and will need dressing. Movement of the shaft was not verified and no function, leak, or pressure test has been performed. Offered as a rebuildable core / as-photographed item. No actuator, cylinder, linkage, gaskets, or hardware included.

Approx. 4 in bore, 7 in mounting flange with eight holes, roughly 7-8 in tall and 9 in wide over the lever; approx. 15-18 lb.
