Detroit Diesel aftercooler end cap / cover casting, marked P183 in the metal. Application: referenced by comparable listings as a Detroit Diesel 71-series turbocharged aftercooler end cap (6V71TI / 12V71 style) — application NOT verified by Yachts & Diesels; sold by photographs, identifiers, and dimensions. May fit Detroit Diesel 71-series aftercooler housings; buyer must confirm. Condition: used take-off, untested. Gray-painted cast body with a machined bronze/brass sealing flange, one large round charge-air port and one small drilled boss. Light handling scuffs and storage oxidation; no visible cracks or damage to the sealing face in the photos, but the part has not been pressure tested, crack tested, or checked for flatness. Cover casting only — no gasket or hardware. Approximate size 8 in x 7 in flange, about 4 in tall. Additional photos and caliper measurements of the bolt pattern and port bore available on request. Note: P183 is a CASTING number, not a confirmed orderable OEM service part number. Buyer must confirm fitment by part number, photos, dimensions, engine model, serial number, and application before purchase. Used marine part sold as-is unless otherwise stated. No returns on electrical, used, special-order, or installed parts. Quote is subject to final fitment confirmation by engine/transmission serial number, part number, photos, and supplier availability.
