Twin Disc MG506 Marine Transmission Marine Gear - Used

Twin Disc MG506 marine transmission (marine gear), removed from service and offered as an untested used unit / rebuildable core.

Application: Marine diesel propulsion installations that originally specified a Twin Disc MG-500 series reverse-reduction gear. The data plate is only partially legible — the model reads MG506, but the BOM and customer numbers, reduction ratio, and rating cannot be read, so the exact application is NOT verified.

Condition: Used, untested. Heavy surface rust on the bell housing, drive plate, and toothed coupling; flaking paint and storage dirt. Not opened, not bench-run, not pressure-tested, and not shift-tested — no test evidence of any kind. Bell housing, drive plate, and coupling element are installed as photographed; completeness of shift, cooler, and output hardware is not verified. The unit will be drained and all ports capped before shipping.
