Used marine/industrial diesel engine starter motor with side-mounted solenoid, cast aluminum drive housing, two-hole mounting flange, and extended open drive nose with splined pinion.

Application: Not verified. The identification decal is torn and only fragments remain ("...ARINE", "E-1171"), so no brand or OEM part number is being claimed. Consistent in appearance with a Bosch-pattern pre-engaged starter used on small marine and industrial diesels, but this is a family resemblance only, not a verified fit.

Condition: Used take-off, untested. Surface rust and shelf dirt throughout, chipped paint on the field-frame band, rust-stained but intact pinion teeth, torn label. No bench test, no-load test, or amp-draw test has been performed — sold as an untested unit / rebuildable core.
