Delco Remy Style Starter Motor - Used

Used Delco-style starter motor removed from service and offered as an untested unit / rebuildable core. Heavy cast-iron frame with offset solenoid, dual battery/motor terminal studs, and an open-throat nose housing with splined pinion drive. Painted blue over its service life with worn paint and surface rust on the frame, nose housing, and drive.

Application: Not verified. A "DELCO" marking is present on the field frame along with a partially legible stamped number; no data tag or confirmed OEM service part number is available. Commonly this style of starter is found on marinized industrial, genset, and agricultural diesel engines — buyer must verify against their own unit.

Condition: Used, untested. Complete as pictured. No bench test or amp-draw test has been performed and no operational claim is made. Solenoid studs corroded; nose housing and pinion heavily surface rusted. Best suited as a core or rebuild candidate.
