Application: Detroit Diesel V71-series marine diesel engine (believed 8V71, possibly 6V71) — cast-iron thermostat / water outlet housing assembly with dual thermostat pockets, triangular block flange, upper hose neck, and auxiliary return neck. Lifting bail present. Condition: Used take-off, heavy exterior paint flaking and surface rust; flange faces will need cleanup and new gaskets. Internal thermostats not verified. Housing will be drained and ports capped before shipping. Buyer must confirm fitment by part number, photos, dimensions, engine model, serial number, and application before purchase.
