Application: Detroit Diesel V-series marine engines — believed to fit 8V71 / 8V92 (and possibly 6V71/6V92) oil cooler assemblies. Cast-iron housing with oval heat-exchanger bundle bore, integral raw-water neck, and full perimeter bolt flange. Condition: Used take-off / core casting. Exterior shows weathering, flaking paint, surface rust, and copper-salt (verdigris) corrosion consistent with long service in a saltwater environment. Sold as-is as a rebuildable core — clean, pressure-test, and resurface before installation.
