Application: Marine diesel engine cooling — believed to be Detroit Diesel 71-series (6V71/8V71) dual thermostat housing or equivalent vintage marine diesel. Cast iron dual-bore housing with 6-bolt flange, elbow outlet, and hose-clamped riser nipple. Condition: Used take-off / core. Heavy external surface rust, flaking factory paint, and corrosion at the hose nipple and outlet elbow. Thermostats present but untested. Not cleaned, not pressure-tested — priced as a core or rebuild/pattern piece. Will be drained and ports capped before shipping.
