Application: Detroit Diesel inline 6-71 and 4-53 marine engines (compare 8509553 / 8543803 for V-71 / 6V-92 / 8V-92). Heat exchanger tube-bundle core with round raw-water inlet neck and rectangular bolted end-plate flange. Condition: Used take-off core with heavy exterior rust, verdigris on tube ends, and bent/damaged fins in one corner. One tube end shows deformation. Not pressure-tested. Sold as a rebuildable core for recore or core-exchange — professional rebuild and pressure test required before service. Unit has been drained; open ports will be capped before shipping.
